Day 1: 700 miles, from Shingle Springs, CA to Pocatello ID
Lots of fun, getting used to the long bouts of driving. Caleb did exceptionally well, was especially excited to get his first "surprise", an etch-a-sketch. I see many hours on the road will be spent drawing pictures of mommy and daddy as well as writing his abc's:). We didnt leave as soon as we wanted to, so we drove on into the night and stopped an hour earlier than planned... On with the great adventure!
Excellent. Tomorrow will be the roughest, Thursday will probably show you the most wildlife. Wish I could watch Caleb when he sees all the animals!
